From Abyss to Hunts, Healers ensure your team remains healthy for extended fights. In PVP, Healers are certainly less mandatory – but they can still turn the tables of an otherwise unwinnable fight. So let’s take a look at some of the most notable Healers worth getting, based solely on their ability to restore health.

15. Lots

Rarity: 4* Element: Earth Lots offers very little immediate healing, and is used more for the utility that comes with his skill two. However, Lots does grant the entire party a Continuous Healing buff. Meaning that if your team can survive until they take a turn, they’re in for some… decent healing at best. Yes, unfortunately, Lots’ healing is both minimal and slow. His skill two is helpful and you’ll likely only ever use him for this ability – but it’s nice that he can at least provide something while this skill is on cooldown.

14. Blood Moon Haste

Rarity: 5* Element: Dark Blood Moon Haste is a Healer with a catch. His main gimmick is that when an opponent is revived, Haste’s entire team will receive a shield the size of Smilegate’s bank account. However, Blood Moon Haste’s skill three (which heals the entire party on top of dealing significant single-target damage) will also be refreshed. If you can somehow find a way to keep enemy units constantly reviving, Haste’s heal will never run out! However, this kind of defeats the entire purpose of trying to attain victory.

13. Elena

Rarity: 5* Element: Ice Elena is a strong Healer added into cleave teams and AOE openers like Peira or Faithless Lidica. Her heal, push, invincibility, and passive make her a great overall support hero. This is doubly true when we consider her recent Exclusive Equipment. However, if you’re looking for consistent heals each turn, Elena falls short in that regard. She can provide great healing in Automaton Tower should you receive her Epic buff – but aside from that, she’s more of a niche pick than a Healer.

12. Maid Chloe

Rarity: 5* Element: Light Maid Chloe doesn’t possess any hard healing in her kit, and instead restores a small amount of health to the entire party at the start of each turn. While this is by no means ideal when looking for a significant heal… it is at least consistent enough to plan around (unlike Elena who relies on suffering from an AOE hit). Maid Chloe is also such a great support hero in general that her weak healing ability should not detract from her viability.

11. Shuna

Rarity: 5* Element: Fire Shuna is an odd case. Because she doesn’t necessarily restore health, but merely redistributes the collective health of your team based on the party member with the highest HP stat. While she arguably does not belong on a list of Healers, her kit is not as far removed from traditional healing as someone like Diene – who relies on shields and buffs that can ultimately be dispelled. At the end of the day, Shuna restores the health of a weakened ally at the cost of (likely) her own health. And that’s good enough for us. Shuna was the welfare hero released during the Reincarnated as a Slime collaboration. And like most welfare heroes, she does a serviceable job in PVE.

10. Destina

Rarity: 5* Element: Earth Ah, the original member of the Epic Seven Big Three alongside Sez and Ravi. For those unaware, these three heroes were deemed optimal reroll targets for anyone starting E7. How times have changed… and while none of these heroes are very viable anymore (aside from perhaps Ravi), Destina can still pump out heals like nobody’s business. Destina’s third skill cleanses, heals, and pushes combat readiness based on how many debuffs she dispelled. Her second skill heals and pushes one hero’s CR, while her first skill heals and can be Soul Burnt to grant a party-wide heal! Destina saw brief play on Counter set as well due to her Exclusive Equipment and the added healing additional attacks provided.

9. Magic Scholar Doris

Rarity: 3* Element: Light Magic Scholar Dori is great for buffing the entire party with defensive attributes, and also for restoring health. She heals a decent amount with her third and second skills. And that second skill can also grant a Continuous Healing buff too. Add to this other buffs like Increased Defense, and Magic Scholar Doris will keep your team in tip-top shape for a long time.

8. Ray

Rarity: 5* Element: Earth Ray is a strange hero that never really gets much attention. His kit is all about debuff clearance, but he also comes with the added benefit of being able to heal moderately successfully. Despite his relative dip into obscurity, Ray can still make for a great Healer against teams that love to inflict debuffs.

7. Achates

Rarity: 4* Element: Fire Achates’ ability to pump out consistent heals almost every turn is unmatched among her collective peers. Her party-wide heal and targetable invulnerability is one thing. But when you add to this her ability to reduce skill cooldowns, Achates can turn cycle heals like no other. She’s handy in later Abyss stages where healing every turn becomes a requirement.

6. Roana

Rarity: 5* Element: Earth Depending on the situation, Roana’s heals surpass every other Healer in the game. Granted, her base heal leaves a little to be desired. By herself, Roana can only heal on her third skill, which also grants the team a Revive buff for two turns. However, when any party member suffers an extra, dual, or counterattack, Roana will heal the entire team and push their combat readiness as well! For example: when facing down a counter-heavy team or a Seaside Bellona, Roana’s healing potential becomes almost infinite.

5. Angelica

Rarity: 4* Element: Ice Angelica is the original “best Healer” in all of Epic Seven. She’s hero who used to be the face of the game, having appeared on the game’s app icon. But Angelica has fallen off in terms of relevancy and marketability (being usurped by Challenger Dominiel). With that said, Angelica is still a great Healer – and there is a reason why she was moved to the Connections tab (making her available to all players for free). For the longest time, rerolling for DPS heroes, farming heroes, or tanks was all irrelevant. The only advice was to acquire a five-star along with Angelica. Angelica’s AOE heal on her skill three and her powerful heal on her skill two are nothing to scoff at. But Angelica truly shines as the secondary Healer in a team, while playing the role of the Primary tank.

4. Angelic Montmorancy

Rarity: 3* Element: Light A. Momo is a solid Healer not only for free-to-play players, but also for veterans of Epic Seven. Her ability to quickly cycle her skills makes sure that the party-wild and targetable heals remain constant. While Momo can heal on her second skill, her third skill is where the real health regeneration is at. This will likely heal any target to full health and buff them with immunity. Her skill two also has a chance to grant the team a Continuous Heal buff, only adding to her great supportive kit.

3. Ruele of Light

Rarity: 5* Element: Light Ruele is a sticky nuisance in PVP that needs to be taken out first, in order to avoid her potentially reviving a teammate with full health. This becomes difficult when you consider that most Ruele’s are equipped with Water’s Origin, which reduces incoming damage, restores health, and boosts combat readiness. As well as restoring an ally to full health (alive or dead) and granting them invincibility, Ruele’s skill two also heals for a considerable amount. And like Destina, her skill one can be Soul Burnt to restore health to the entire team as well. There’s a reason Ruele is one of the most highly sought-after Moonlight five-stars.

2. Emilia

Rarity: 5* Element: Ice Folks were quick to write off Emilia’s kit as boring during her initial release (especially when compared to the terror that was Rem). However, Emilia has since risen to be the premier Healer for RTA thanks to her ability to:

Restore health Boost combat readiness And dispel debuffs

Emilia’s healing also comes with a moderate shield. And if her skill two is Soul Burnt, she can restore health to the targeted ally as well. She can shine in both PVP and PVE, so it’s worth building her if you haven’t done so already!

1. Tamarinne

Rarity: 5* Element: Fire Tamarinne is all but useless in PVP. Aside from a brief stint alongside partner Iseria, Tamarinne is likely one of the least picked units of all time in RTA. Granted, this list aims to rate Healers based on their healing ability in all forms of Epic Seven content… but Tamarinne’s ungodly viability as the Queen of PVE earns her the top spot for now. Her heals come in various shapes and sizes: Specifically her basic skill two is a moderate heal, and her skill one can be soul burnt for an AOE heal (similar to Destina). When in Idol Form, Tamarinne can restore her own health to full, as well as push combat readiness and give the party Increased Attack. When used in conjunction with Rod of Amaryllis, Tamarinne’s healing potential skyrockets, making her a must-have unit for Abyss and certain Hunts. All in all, Tamarinne is a Healer worth looking into – and she’s a must-pull for anyone that doesn’t have her yet.
