Aight. Jhin’s a wild card, I know. Nothing about a murderous psychopath screams husbando material. But let’s give him credit where credit is due. He’s meticulous. He’s dedicated. He’s got a hobby he’s genuinely passionate about. Plus, he’s stylish and will totally leave you feeling like a work of art, albeit even if a splash (or two) of blood is involved. What more could you want in a man?
9. Graves
Let’s be real: Graves is by far the hottest husbando out there. He’s got the brawn, the looks, and a double-barreled shotgun that will strike your heart faster than any 3D man can. Sure, he’s a criminal. But at least he’s an honorable one (an upgrade from Jhin, right?). Now, I would put Graves higher, but he just isn’t ready for full on commitment – you’ll always feel 2nd place to his cigar. And since he’s a wanted man in pretty much every empire and city, you’ll be competing for his attention with a zillion others.
8. Garen
Want a man that’s not afraid to scream out his love for you? That will spin his way to your door whenever you desire? That’s capable of dealing true damage to your enemies, and true love to your heart? Then you’re in Luck. Garen’s the full package. Brimming with Demacian might, Garen is a proud and noble warrior that doesn’t believe love needs a “touch of magic” to thrive. You’ve gotta work for it, and he’s ready to work for it. Although I feel like Garen’s probably a bit too dedicated to Demacia to be a top husbando. He’s a sight to behold on the battlefield though – so he at least deserves 8th place.
7. Shen
Shen’s a husbando that will never leave your side.
Even if he’s a hundred miles away, he’ll teleport to you in seconds if you summon his presence.
Sure, he might be a bit too clingy, but at least you know he’s loyal and isn’t running off with some other duo partner.
Shen’s also virtually impossible to get bored of.
Seriously.
Every date with this husbando will leave you with more questions than answers.
Sadly, Shen can be a lil dispassionate at times.
He’s not the emotional type, so look elsewhere if you’re after a husbando that will shower you in love and affection.
6. Ekko
Ekko will make sure every single second spent together goes perfectly. Literally. He’ll turn back time if it isn’t perfect and redo it over and over again until it is. He’s also a devoted champion that cares deeply for those around him, whether friend, family or lover (aka, you). And while he may shatter time, he’ll never shatter your heart; Ekko will truly bring out the best in you, and protect you even if it costs him his life (or an infinite amount of time).
5. Tryndamere
A husbando should treat you like royalty. They should care for you, look out for you, and leave you feeling like you own the world. So what better way to get the royal treatment than by pledging loyalty to a husbando that’s an actual king? He might be a little rough around the edges, and he might have a few anger issues, but Tryndamere has shown time and time again that his heart is pure. He’s committed to his lover and people – and will run it down mid if you ask him to. Plus, he’s also one of the greatest warriors to have ever lived. Who can top that? But with that said, there’s only one downside: His right arm is a lot stronger than his left arm, if you catch my drift.
4. Braum
We’ve had virtuous husbandos, mysterious husbandos, and even psychopathic ones so far. But what about a husbando that just wants to smother you in hugs with their hulkish biceps? Introducing Braum: the champion that lives among ice, but definitely doesn’t have an icy heart. In fact, he’s so warm and affectionate his people call him the heart of Freljord. Braum’s the type of guy that’ll open doors for you and treat you to flowers and pancakes in bed. He may be optimistic to the point of delusion, but how can you not fall in love with such a trait? He’ll leave you feeling motivated in all of your games with voice lines like: “the darker the night, the brighter the stars,” and “sometimes icy heart just needs warm smile.”
3. Lucian
Lucian will go to the depths of the abyss for you. He’ll also take on soul-eating demons, conquer his fears and remain loyal, even if you turn into the one thing he hates the most. Besides his award-winning dedication, Lucian also has the “husbando” looks; He’s tough, handsome, and boasts a stunning armor that complements every fiber of his body. Put simply, if you want a husbando with a hot bod and a love that’ll survive even death itself? Lucian is the one for you.
2. Rakan
So let’s say you want a husbando that will charm your heart. Then look no further than Rakan, the vastayan troublemaker. Rakan’s a love bird (pun intended) that showers the Rift with sweet, sweet romance. Every action he does and every word he says is to please his true love. He’s also up for games, pranks, and a whole lot of flirting, making him the most entertaining husbando in the game. He’s even a dancing prodigy. So he’ll literally be able to sweep you off your feet. And of course, who could forget that he’s “goddamn sexy.” The only reason he’s not the no.1 spot? While he’s charming and got perfect abs, the feathers are a hard no from me. But hey, each to their own; the feathers probably make him god tier among furries.
1. Viego
Okay, so Viego might be emotionally stunted.
He might be the kinda guy to ghost you if you don’t turn up to his homemade dinner (a misty trifle with a side of souls) then spam you with passive aggressive woe-is-me messages at 3am in the morning.
But these flaws, for the most part, can be overlooked.
After all, Viego is the epitome of a helpless romantic.
And his love for Isolde will truly make even the most hardened criminal cry (looking at you, Jhin).
While I won’t spoil his tragic lore, you should know that the Ruination event was spurred by his broken heart and longing for Isolde.
That’s how dedicated he is to his waifu.
If you give this tragically loyal husbando a chance, you won’t regret it.
