They’re capable of dishing out heavy damage, and capable of taking hits just as well. Bruiser gang has garnered a lot of attention over the years, as the gear requirements are much lower compared to the high rolls that speed gear necessitates. But which Warrior heroes are most worth your time? Let’s find out.
15. Lena
Rarity: 5* Element: Fire Lena is your free-to-play farming Warrior and should definitely be picked up when you’re first starting the game. Her skill three will reset upon killing a unit, making her great for taking down low-health waves. Alongside connection heroes like A.Momo, Angelica, and Furious, plus selective summon must-haves like Muwi and Sigret, Lena rounds out a nice ice team to get started with Wyvern farming.
14. General Purrgis
Rarity: 4* Element: Light General Purrgis is one of the most irritating units to play against – because he essentially stops the opponent from using AOE attacks. He pushes the entire team when suffering an attack, which makes targeting him a very dangerous battle. And General Purrgis also works well as a Wyvern 13 tank since he can increase the combat readiness of your entire team.
13. Kitty Clarissa
Rarity: 4* Element: Light Kitty Clarissa’s AOE cleanse and high resistance make her a decent niche pick for heavy debuff teams. She’s also vital for Abyss floors 111-120, alongside Taranor Guard. While she’s not the best Warrior ever created, she performs exceptionally well in her little corner.
12. Luna
Rarity: 5* Element: Ice Luna has gone from the top of the meta, to the bottom, and then back to the middle of the pack. She was once considered the best DPS for not only Wyvern 11, but also Abyss as a whole. However, with the introduction of Wyvern 13 and the necessity to inflict debuffs, a large cooldown on Luna’s skill three made her less than viable. That said, thanks to some buffs and her Exclusive Equipment, she’s now a great nuker who can take down revivers before soul burning to maximize her damage on the following extra turn.
11. Lionheart Cermia
Rarity: 5* Element: Light Lionheart Cermia is our first AOE defense penetration semi-cleaver – and a nice addition for those who love to deal heavy damage! Lionheart Cermia is a mix of bruiser and cleaver, as her defensive scaling keeps her from being considered a glass cannon. Still, we wish Chaos Sect Cermia had made her debut instead.
10. Sigret
Rarity: 5* Element: Ice Sigret doesn’t have much use in PVP. But her role as the single best DPS option for Wyvern 13 cements her spot on this list. Wyvern 13, arguably the most important hunt (nay, the most important piece of PVE content in the game) is where you’ll be spending most of your time for late-game gear farming. And that’s where she stands out. Sigret’s huge DPS and multiple debuffs make her great for standard and one-shot Wyvern 13 farming.
9. Straze
Rarity: 5* Element: Dark Straze is a solid cleaver in a world of anti-cleave. His ability to shred the defense of the tankiest member of the enemy team makes him great for dealing with those stubborn F.Cecis and A.Ravis. And his kit also comes loaded with a lot of utility. Not only can he grant himself invincibility, but he can also strip buffs with his skill two.
8. Hwayoung
Rarity: 5* Element: Ice Despite having just been released, Hwayoung is already making waves as a dedicated nuker – similar to heroes like ML Khawazu. Hawayoung’s ability to end the life of any one unit she chooses makes her incredibly viable in today’s meta (as of this writing). Time will tell as to whether or not she remains viable after people have time to figure her out… But for now, she’s definitely worth the investment.
7. Designer Lillibet
Rarity: 5* Element: Dark After receiving her buffs, Designer Lillibet is in a really nice spot. Her ability to strip, reset cooldowns, and cleanse herself makes her a great pick into debuff-heavy teams. If only more balance adjustments could be (pardon the pun) balanced as well as with Dillibet.
6. Rem
Rarity: 5* Element: Ice This pick may need some clarification. Any Rem heroes would easily take the top spot on this list, as they’ll AOE counter every time without fail. Unfortunately, your Rem is a little too sleepy to justify putting her any higher… Joking aside, Rem’s ability to win the game without you having to even press a button is evidence enough as to how broken she is. But her AOE counter and Demon Mode passive both cement her as a top-tier RTA threat.
5. Little Queen Charlotte
Rarity: 5* Element: Light Dpending on the meta (and whether or not Dark units are prevalent), LQC will either be very good or very bad. Luckily as of this writing we’re currently in a Dark-infested meta, which allows LQC to shine through! LQC deals massive damage to Dark units, and inflicts splash damage on Dark enemies when attacking them. In a world of tanky A.Ravi’s, A.Meru’s, and F.Ceci’s, you’ll be thankful that LQC can bail you out of these sticky situations.
4. Mediator Kawerik
Rarity: 5* Element: Dark Kawerik started out his life in E7 as nothing more than a meme, widely considered to be one of the worst ML 5* heroes in the entire game. But he has since risen to be one of the top units in all of RTA. After some buffs, he’s been initiated into the “seven great disasters” of Epic Seven. golf clap Kawerik is a solid pseudo-support hero who can dispel debuffs from his team, while also dishing out hefty damage and crippling debuffs.
3. Apocalypse Ravi
Rarity: 5* Element: Dark A.Ravi has transitioned from being a pretty generic tank into a terror of the RTA scene. Her ability to tank hits is unrivaled. And coming with a skill one that inflicts injury, A.Ravi can solo entire teams all by herself (granted it may take some time). A.Ravi can also revive a unit thanks to her skill three, which means it’s only a matter of time before she emerges victorious from any battle – assuming you don’t have the means to take her out.
2. Conqueror Lilias
Rarity: 5* Element: Light Conqueror Lilias is a recent addition to the Golden Girls lineup in E7, placed alongside Belian and Angel of Light Angelica. Cilias’ speed makes her a great opener. And her versatile kit makes her a solid first pick in RTA. But her vigor buff (which grants increased attack and defense to the entire party) is really what pushes Cilias over the edge of balance. Yep, Cilias is one of the most broken ML 5* units we’ve seen in quite some time.
1. Rimuru
Rarity: 5* Element: Earth Collaboration and Limited units seem to always find a place at the top of people’s hate list. First came Dizzy, then came Seaside Bellona, followed by Rem, and finally we have Rimuru. Rimuru is another one of Epic Seven’s “Seven Great Disaster heroes” – and it’s clear to see why. Rimuru’s ability to steal buffs on his skill two and three are fantastic in and of themselves. But the fact that his skill two can proc on counter-attacks, and his skill three also deals 10,000 set damage makes him incredibly strong. If you missed out on Rimuru in favor of Milim, we’re gravely sorry for your loss.
