Where WoW transports you to a fantasy world of orcs, elves, and dragons, The Sims prefers to give you a peek of what your life might be if things were just a little more whimsical. But what would a mash-up look like? Here are some amazing TS4 mods and CC sets based on the world of Azeroth and its greatest heroes.
1. World of Warcraft Chibi Painting Collection
Check Out This CC I’ve always been a fan of the hyper-deformed “chibi” art style. It makes almost anything cute and stylish – like these World of Warcraft characters. The WoW Chibi Painting Collection by N.Blightcaller features adorable versions of many character classes, enemies, and mounts. Even the Lich King looks cute, which is saying a lot! Looking at any of these 25+ paintings hanging on the wall will give your Sims a +2 Happy moodlet. Who doesn’t like looking at cute things?
2. Horde & Alliance Career Paths
Check Out This CC “Horde or Alliance?” Nowadays, everyone gets along. But belonging to one of these factions actually meant something back in the day. The Horde attracts people who value freedom, courage, and self-determination, while the Alliance appeals to those who pursue peace, harmony, and order. With this career mod by N.Blightcaller, your Sim will join the Horde as a scout and work their way up to Warchief. Alternatively, get the Alliance version.
3. World of Warcraft Chest Tattoos
Check Out This CC When I was a teen, I’d always picture getting many video game-related tattoos to show my love for my favorite franchises. It took over a decade before I gathered the courage to go and get inked – but your Sims don’t need to wait. You can just download these WoW Chest Tattoos, and they’ll be on the fast track to looking bad-ass with one of these 34 designs. These logos represent every class and race, along with factions like the Frostwolf or the Scourge.
4. WoW Expansions Canvas – Complete Pack
Check Out This CC If you’d rather decorate your home instead of your body, check out these WoW Expansions Canvases by Hasufel. This mod will let you turn your bedroom, living room, or game room into a space worthy of a true WoW fan. It’s a set of seven large and colorful framed posters featuring the “cover” of each expansion, from the original release all the way to Legion. This is something I’ve seen in the homes of WoW fans in the past, so it’s pretty realistic. Or you can grab a copy of these class-based posters to put on your Sim’s walls.
5. Dragon Queen Armor Set
Check Out This CC Cosplaying is a beautiful hobby that forces you to exit your comfort zone and enter the skin of your favorite characters – not only in looks but also in attitude. This custom Dragon Queen Armor Set by Natalia-Auditore is based on the Queen of Life herself – Alexstrasza, the Life-Binder. It’s one of the badass armor sets you’ll see her wear in Heroes of the Storm. It’s a gorgeous outfit all-around, and the color palette is on point – but what I like the most is the colossal horns. They’re big enough to have crystals hanging from them! Talk about menacing.
6. Illidari: World of Warcraft Demon Hunter Horns
Check Out This CC Among the many WoW races, the Demon Hunters are probably the best-looking – and that’s not in small part thanks to their badass horns. Creator Valhallan brings some of that demonic energy to The Sims 4 with the Illidari collection of Demon Hunter horns converted straight from World of Warcraft. This collection features six different horn styles, ranging from tiny spikes to colossal spirals that’ll give any character a distinctly mythical look – perfect for Realm of Magic content. These horns are compatible with male and female Sims from Teen to Elder. But there’s a size-adjusted version for kids right here.
7. Warcraft Heroine Sets
Check Out This CC If I had to guess, I’d say most of you clicked on this article looking to bring some of your favorite WoW heroes to The Sims 4. CC Creator IvkaSims makes it easy to cosplay some important female characters with full costumes that’ll even change a Sim’s hair to match the preferred heroine. The above link will take you to Jaina Proudmoore, as seen in Battle for Azeroth. But you should also check out the night elf Tyrande Whisperwind, and the banshee Sylvanas Windrunner. Most of these items have been converted straight from World of Warcraft, so you know it’s faithful to the source material.
8. World of Warcraft Pets
Check Out This CC The addition of adorable Familiars was one of my favorite features in the Realm of Magic expansion. Whether it’s a Glowfrog or a Snub-nosed Leaf Bat, these little critters make a mage’s life much more enjoyable. Another great source of magical companions is the World of Warcraft Pets mod by Natalia-Auditore, introducing Murlocs, Baby Raptors, Spiders, and even a tiny succubus to TS4. The one caveat is that these aren’t actually pets in TS4. They’re just decorative statues! Maybe it’s for the best, though. Can you picture having to domesticate a Murloc? And good news! Since the original release, Natalia-Auditore has expanded this pack to include:
Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
So check those out if you’re really looking for a collection.
9. Little Suramar Lot
Check Out This Lot Suramar is one of the oldest cities in Azeroth. It was an ancient place of worship for the Night Elves, and though most of it was destroyed by the Burning Legion during the War of the Ancients over 10,000 years ago, a piece of it was hidden away until just recently. Now, Suramar stands as the home of the Nightborne elves – and it can easily become the home for your Sims, too, thanks to SatiSim’s Little Suramar Lot. Made with 100% vanilla assets, the Little Suramar lot is a miniature recreation of the city, featuring some of the most essential locations. The colors and lighting are spot-on, and, amazingly, it was created with no CC whatsoever.
10. Dalaran – The Floating City Lot
Check Out This Lot Practitioners of the arcane arts should celebrate the arrival of the Floating City of Dalaran to your TS4 save. This colossal 64×64 lot by SatiSim contains the most iconic locations of this mage-ruled city-state as seen in World of Warcraft. More specifically, these areas include:
The Main City The Rogue and Mage Class Halls And the Arena down in the sewers
You’ll even find a cozy apartment under The Violet Citadel where your Sim can set up shop and start studying magic under the Kirin Tor.
