Is it the company’s long history as an American brand? Or their commitment to affordable high-performing vehicles? Maybe we just can’t get over the Corvette. Whatever the case, Chevy cars have been and will continue to be a ubiquitous sight on streets worldwide. There’s no reason to think our Sims would be any different. Chevrolet has a hand in almost every tier and genre of automobile – from the everyday commuter sedan to truly monstrous off-road trucks – and you’ll find a bit of everything in this Sims 4 CC collection.
1. Chevrolet Impala (2007)
Check Out This CC The Impala is an affordable, high-quality vehicle with a neat and low-profile design to help any Sim blend in. Maybe the neighbors have begun (correctly) suspecting your Sim of vampirism, but one look at the 2007 Impala in the garage will establish them as an average Joe with nothing to hide but credit card debts. Unlike earlier full-size models, the ninth generation Impala is a mid-size sedan valued for its fuel efficiency and excellent driving experience.
2. Chevrolet Impala SS (1961)
Check Out This CC A much more eye-catching version of this all-time classic is the 1961 Impala Super Sport – the first in a long list of high-performance Chevy vehicles under the SS badge. This premium version of the beloved American car is absolutely breathtaking. Even though many ’61 Impalas were sold with the SS appearance package, it’s not a real ’61 Impala SS unless it has the mandatory engine and suspension upgrade. Less than 500 “full” Impala SS were sold for that model year. What’s the story behind your Sim’s one-of-a-kind Impala SS? Only you can tell us!
3. Chevrolet Volt (2016)
Check Out This CC The Impala SS is fantastic for lovers of vintage automobiles – but if your Sim is the forward-facing kind, you need to look to the future. You need to think green! The Chevrolet Volt is a beautiful plug-in hybrid with a design that screams “speed.” The aggressive angles and lines on its front fascia will make you think of a Lambo, while the spaciousness and price tag remind you that Chevy has your back. And the company also has the planet’s back, as the car’s hybrid system significantly reduces C02 emissions. So this would be just the car for a humble Sim gardener with a green thumb who wants to save the planet, but doesn’t have the cash for a Tesla Model X.
4. Chevrolet Corvette C6 (2005)
Check Out This CC Named after a type of small warship, the Corvette has been at the front line of American sports car design since it was first released in 1953. This iconic luxury sports car features beautiful body sculpting that makes your heart skip a beat when it passes you by. Its design has evolved a lot throughout the years – but it remains true to the original 1953 convertible. Despite its smoother, more rounded lines, it’s easy to see the soul of the series in the 2005 sixth-gen ‘Vette. This CC set offers eight vibrant colors for the ‘Vette with a Maxis-Match “finish” that’ll help it fit into your game easily.
5. Chevrolet Corvette (1960)
Check Out This CC If you want to see where the Corvette C6’s design heritage comes from, look no further than this sexy two-seater from the 1960s. The Corvette fits the idea we all have of a classic convertible. It’s compact, maneuverable, and can command the attention of an entire street full of people if you’ve taken good care of it. The 1960s version features quadruple headlamps and a unique front bumper design that sets it apart from the 1953 original.
6. Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (2019)
Check Out This CC The designers for the seventh generation of Corvettes produced from 2014 to 2019 had one job: dispelling the image of “old man’s car” that had formed around the ‘Vette. The seventh-generation car’s design definitely looks more youthful and adventurous than the C6. It almost looks like a Hot Wheels car! That’s doubly true for the ZR1, a performance-enhanced version with a factory-fitted body kit that reminds me of my time playing Need for Speed: Most Wanted as a kid. I guess marketing to children is one way of making your car “hip” again.
7. Chevrolet Corvette ZL1 (1969)
Check Out This CC For a truly unusual vehicle you probably won’t ever see in real life, take a look at the Corvette ZL1. Fitted with Chevrolet’s (then) new big-block 7.0L engine, this special edition ‘Vette was the most powerful production vehicle at the time. It generated 460HP, allowing this beast of a car to run a quarter-mile in 12 seconds. Regrettably, the car was retired from Chevrolet’s public offering after new regulations from the EPA made the engine non-viable due to high emissions. Only a few of these have survived due to its short run and high price tag, making the ZL1 the “Holy Grail” of Chevrolet collectors.
8. Chevrolet Suburban (2020)
Check Out This CC The “Suburban” name has been around since the 1930s, making it the longest-running product family in the history of automobiles, at least in name. The 2020 model belongs to its eleventh generation and shines for its spacious passenger seats and enormous cargo space. Its classic blocky style and subdued brightwork make it an excellent option for the no-frills Sim.
9. Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD (2015)
Check Out This CC Some Sims just want to become the center of attention and project a powerful image – and nothing is more stereotypical of this kind of person than a Silverado. Most people driving the Silverado don’t need a pick-up truck. They’ve never moved anything larger than a couple of beer cases, and their idea of off-road performance is driving 10m on the sand at the beach. You see, it’s not about how useful it is. The Silverado looks glorious and potent at a glance. The brightwork on its front grille is very eye-catching, and it’s so tall, it has skirt rail steps to help people on! Having people climbing steps to get in your car definitely does the trick if you want to project power.
10. Chevrolet Bel Air (1957)
Check Out This CC The 1950s were a golden age for bold car design where bright colors, glistening chrome, and increasingly large tailfins dominated the streets. It was a reaction to the dismal first half of the century, full of economic instability and war culminating in the development of nuclear weapons that would become a constant fear for Americans for decades to come. The public saw cars like the Chevrolet Bel Air as part of the future they were striving for. They wanted relaxation, leisure, and booming lifestyles that let them get every drop out of life. The Bel Air is the Elvis Presley of automobiles, and it’s one of the most easily recognizable cars ever – even if you didn’t know its name until 30 seconds ago.
11. Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 (2012)
Check Out This CC Already a trendy product line, the Camaro rose to fame among younger audiences thanks to Bumblebee – the Camaro Autobot from the 2007 live-action Transformers film. You won’t see the ZL1 turn into an alien robot anytime soon. But it’s about as powerful thanks to its supercharged 6.2L V8 engine. This mid-size coupé is perfect for a youthful Sim who likes the imposing, bad-ass look of classic muscle cars and would like to try a modern alternative that retains that somewhat blocky look.
12. Chevrolet Camaro SS (2016)
Check Out This CC In the third Transformers film released in 2011, we see Bumblebee take on the form of a 2012 Camaro SS. The Super Sport tag refers to a high-performance package offered by Chevrolet for some of its vehicles, including the Impala, and of course, the Camaro. While not the same model as Bumblebee, the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro projects the same youthful and adventurous personality of the Autobots’ scout. Even if you don’t want anything to do with Transformers, there’s a lot to love about this modern American classic.
13. Chevrolet Corvette C8 (2020)
Check Out This CC Chevrolet’s dream of a modern design that would appeal to younger audiences made the Corvette C7 look like a Hot Wheels toy, but it would finally bear fruit with the 2020 Corvette C8. Where the C7 seems to have a bit of a personality crisis, the C8 chooses to entirely reinvent itself as a mid-engine luxury sports car taking more than a couple design cues from Lamborghini while keeping its iconic A-line intact. Your Sim might wake up one day to find a crowd of neighbors just marveling at their car or witness an unfortunate car accident when someone gets wholly distracted from the road thanks to this flaming hot Corvette.
14. Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 (2021)
Check Out This CC My favorite SUV from Chevrolet is the Tahoe Z71 – a full-size 8-passenger SUV with significant room for cargo that’ll let you take the whole family on a road trip in style. The 2021 Tahoe combines the vehicle’s classic boxy look with slightly more rounded edges and a curved front grille reminiscent of the Silverado. One of the main differences between the Z71 and the regular 2021 Tahoe is precisely that front grille, which changes from a bright chrome to matte black for a sporty off-road look.
15. Chevrolet Camaro “Valkyrja” (2019)
Check Out This CC To wrap things up, we’re looking at the “Valkyrja” – a special custom machine hiding modern tech and performance inside a ’69 Camaro. Almost everything about this car is custom-made by Ringbrothers, a company specializing in manufacturing premium parts to bring classic vehicles into the future. As shown on this video, the Valkyrja’s body is sculpted in carbon fiber, and it houses an insane 890HP V8 engine that makes this renewed muscle car a force to be reckoned with. This custom Sims 4 content based on the Valkyrja is exceptional compared to other decorative automobiles, thanks to its fully functional headlamps.
