I live in Asia, and when I tell you that you can find just as many plates in my aunt’s living room as you can in her kitchen, trust me; I’m not exaggerating. That being said, decorative plates are great to have. They can act as clutter, space fillers, or pops of color for many rooms.
Decorative Plates & Dishes CC
1. Avis Plate V2 by NynaeveDesign
Check Out This CC This stack of smooth, colorful plates is part of NynaeveDesign’s Avis Kitchen Décor set—a timeless, Scandi-inspired variety pack of kitchen essentials! This download link will lead you to the Avis plate version with four color options: three neutrals and one pretty light peach. If you want to add five more swatches, head on over to the creator’s site to the get the extra recolors!
2. Japan Dining – Plates Stack by ShinoKCR
Check Out This CC Add a touch of East Asian flavors in your Sim’s dining room with ShinoKCR’s Japan Dining set. Included is this beautiful stack of plates with flowery, abstract designs. Almost too pretty to eat off of, right? I haven’t tried to do it in-game but, according to the preview photo, it looks like you can stack them standing up as well!
3. Naturalis Plate by SIMcredible!
Check Out This CC I’m a sucker for minimalist designs, and four out of the five color variations of this plate are checking all my boxes. Since you can stack the plates as much as needed (I think; I didn’t hit a limit, at least), try combining the speckled with the glossy black or the watercolor leaves with the white. It’s a visual treat.
4. Kitchen Jen – Plate Large by ung999
Check Out This CC This plate is part of a décor concept set – if you will – by ung999. You can check the preview photos for a visual explanation but, basically, the plates are designed in a way that you can stack a smaller plate on top of this Plate Large and an even smaller bowl on top of that Plate Small. You can also create stacks of just the one Plate Large or the one Plate Small. P.S. Grab the smaller plate here and the bowl here!
5. Wafuu Plate Set by Amellce
Check Out This CC Tired of boring old circular plates? Mix things up a bit by throwing some rectangle- and flower-shaped(???) onto the table! These Wafuu plates come in three sizes; single-serving, middle-serving, and large-serving. The last two have three variations each, for a grand total of seven new base-game compatible items.
6. Cookware Bowls by kardofe
Check Out This CC It may say “bowl” in the title, but I’ve seen dishes deeper than this. I genuinely think that plus the unusual design (although rounded square plates aren’t that uncommon) is what’s making me keep it squarely in the “Plates & Dishes” category. Plus I really like the available color options. Very matte, very classy.
7. Tea Time Plates Stack by SIMcredible!
Check Out This CC Honestly, if it wasn’t for the gold rings on the edges, the colored plates (powder blue, mint green, light pink) would look a lot like paper plates. That’s how thin they look and how subtle their shine is. Not saying this as a bad thing! They look dainty as heck, if not a little bit fragile.
Silverware CC Sets
8. Idealista Forks, Knife, and Spoon by Winner9
Check Out This CC What table setting is complete without the nice silverware? These simple, clean, and frankly heavy-looking utensils have six color options. Solid Silver, Burnished Bronze, and Matte Gold are a part of those options, and those three swatches give off. They give off serious old-money, high-society vibes.
9. Korean Style Utensil Override by mochachiiiii
Check Out This CC The creator made a similar override (about two years ago) replacing the default chopsticks with metal ones. This override is an expansion of that, replacing the EA chopsticks and the spoon and fork set with pretty, elegant metal versions. They come in four colors, and I’m telling you now: the rose gold swatch is gorgeous.
10. Avis Utensils by NynaeveDesign
Check Out This CC Some pretty basic – but still pretty! – utensils to pair with the stackable Avis Plate V2 from the same creator. Do note that the fork, knife, and spoon aren’t separate décor items; they come as a group with a default formation and order (so you can’t switch the spoon for the fork or whatever; sorry!)
11. Diningroom Munich Cutlery Large by BuffSumm
Check Out This CC Despite what the name says, these utensils are actually pretty regular-sized (with respect to the average Sim’s hand, anyway). The “large” in the name is because they’re meant to be paired with their much smaller counterparts of the set (which you can download here). Both variations of the cutlery come in burnished gold and silver swatches!
12. Cutlery Set and Mug by tokotomy
Check Out This CC With this CC set, you can place down a mug, full cutlery set (knife, fork, spoon) or both! It’s a pretty cute & pretty convenient way to decorate a cozy breakfast scene with some silver and porcelain clutter. The mug comes in two swatches, the cutlery in three, and the mug + silverware combo in two as well.
Dining Sets & CC Packs
13. Chlorophyll Serving Set by SIMcredible!
Check Out This CC This is probably one of the cutest dining sets I’ve ever seen, and I don’t think that’s an exaggeration. I would pay good money to have pastel pink and baby blue plates with napkins that match exactly. The whole thing looks like it belongs in some Instagrammable table setting—complete with daintily aesthetic centerpieces and lots of fruity desserts.
14. Table Set by Jools
Check Out This CC I genuinely never knew the décor slots on EA dining tables were uneven. I thought it was just me and my inability to place things down properly. So! As per the creator’s instructions, if you need these beautiful custom plates, placemats, and cutlery set centered to the seats, you’ll need to use bb.moveobjects on.
15. Formal Tea Set by Strange Storyteller Sims
Check Out This CC Aside from a full table set that is the definition of elegant, this CC set by SSTS contains 18 other décor items, including a macaroon tower, an elegant teapot, a dessert tower tray, and loads of delectable-looking desserts. I’m talking finger sandwiches, fruit tarts, and cookies by the dozen.
16. Dinnerware Set by TheJim07
Check Out This CC I’ll try to explain this set as best as I can, but I strongly urge you to read the creator’s notes before downloading. All the items in here are decorative. However, Sims can place their food plate directly on them to give the illusion that they’re actually using the fancy dinnerware (sans utensils and wine glass). The usability isn’t fully there, but it does make for very pretty screenshots! Again, more info and details in the creator’s description.
17. Usable Dinnerware with Functional Tea Set by Sanjana Sims Studio
Check Out This CC This is yet another full-scale dining set that, although decorative, is meant to give the appearance that the items are actually usable. If you check the creator’s preview photos, they do seem to work. However, it’s a bit tricky getting them to stick. Like TheJim07’s Dinnerware Set, I urge you to read the creator’s notes thoroughly.
18. Naturalis Dining Serving Set by SIMcredible!
Check Out This CC This is part of the creator’s Naturalis Dining Décor set—a CC pack meant to “beautify your [Sims’] homes using natural elements” (as per the creator’s description). If you ever get a chance to check out the other items in the set, you’ll see that they are every bit as gorgeous and aesthetically pleasing as this serving set. Plus, I love how the color variations of the plate and bowl look so much like different kinds of coffee (latte, macchiato, and milk, anybody?).
19. Manganese Place Setting by wondymoon
Check Out This CC What I found interesting about this dining set was the slightly contrasting vibes of the elements. The marble plates and matte cutlery for sure scream “fancy dinner.” But the woven placemats? Not so high society, really. Regardless, the whole place setting is gorgeous, so. No complaints here.
20. Beach Party by soloriya
Check Out This CC Words cannot justify just how pretty this dining set is in-game. I mean, in the preview photos alone, it already looks gorgeous. And fun! Look at those cute little pufferfish salt shakers and those classy-AF seashell bowls. This is the definition of a quirky concept that was executed beautifully, and I am all for it. Check out the creator’s description for a full list of items!
