The FATE was added in the Endwalker expansion, and requires the completion of two separate FATEs in order to have a chance to spawn. It’s the third in a chain, and the first two are:
Devout Pilgrims vs. the Jungle Lizards (Thavnair – The Shroud of the Samgha – Purusa, X:34 Y:27). Devout Pilgrims vs. the Apalala (Thavnair – The Shroud of the Samgha, X:23 Y:23)
Both requisite FATEs are Level 85, while the World FATE is Level 90. Completing “Devout Pilgrims vs. Daivadipa” rewards you with:
6 Daivadipa’s Beads 86 Bicolor Gemstones 315,562 Experience And a tiny amount of Gil for a Gold Ranking
If you fail or receive Silver Rank, you’ll receive 4 Beads.
Daivadipa’s Dowry
The reason this is a bit tricky is that even getting Daivadipa to spawn can take a while. You’ll need to complete the two prerequisite FATEs in the chain, and then hope his unmarked FATE spawns in the Southwest. It isn’t guaranteed, and you’ll likely need to complete the series multiple times. Further still, Daivadipa is on a 48 hour timer. Meaning if it popped up in the last two days, you’ll need to wait. Once you’ve completed the two FATEs, head to the far Southwest in Thavnair. Land on the unmarked Jnanamandapa shrine, and wait a few minutes. If it doesn’t appear, you’ll need to complete the FATEs again. Daivadipa is no pushover, either. Make sure you get yourself a full Party before engaging, at the very least. Especially if you want that Gold rating so you don’t have to defeat it multiple times. Once you’ve conquered the false Deity of Zot, you can go hand in your Beads. Nesvaaz (Radz-at-Han – Alzadaal’s Peace, X:11 Y:10) will trade you the following items under Out-of-this-world Oddities: So whether you really want to dress like an elephant or need some threads for you Chocobo, he’s got what you need. Including that Wind-up Daivadipa Minion you’re after. Best of luck in your hunt for the elusive Daivadipa!
