And though they won’t give you as much, clearing Conquest Missions and buying varnishes from the Kingdom General Store are also both great ways of farming a lot of varnishes over time.
What Are Equipment Varnishes Used For?
Equipment Varnishes are used for leveling up your equipment pieces. There are three different kinds of Varnishes: Equipment Varnishes are also divided into 6 different tiers (★). The higher the tier (★), the more EXP they provide your equipment — with the highest being 6★ and the lowest being 1★.
How To Farm Equipment Varnishes
Equipment Varnishes aren’t all that uncommon, but there are three main methods you should follow if you want to farm as much of them as you can.
Method #1: AFK Farming (Best Method)
AFK Farming is by far the best method for farming all three types of Equipment Varnishes. If you know where to AFK Farm depending on which drops you want to get, you can farm not just Equipment Varnishes, but just about anything in the game. If you use AI Mode for AFK Farming and exit the game for a while, you’ll also accumulate Break Rewards that include Random Varnish Chests. Now that’s two birds with one stone!
Method #2: Clear Conquest Missions
While you can potentially get way more Equipment Varnishes through AFK Farming, clearing Conquest Missions is also a must if you want to farm enough of them to go around. The rewards you get from Conquest Missions are random, but you’ll most likely be able to get at least one mission that rewards you with Equipment Varnishes and Enhancement Stones per day. The only catch is that you cannot farm Accessory Varnishes here, but that’s what the next method is for.
Method #3: Buy Varnishes From The Kingdom General Store
You can purchase three 2★ and 3★ Accessory Varnishes every week from the Kingdom General Store, costing you 30 Gilders and 60 Gilders respectively. You can only buy Accessory Varnishes here. But this is okay, since you’ll get enough of the other Equipment Varnish types just by following the other two methods anyway. Accessory Varnishes are the hardest to farm out of all three types – so make sure you pick them up from the General Store as often as you can.
