You can left-click this item to empty it. Doing so will teleport you to the Ectofuntus, found just north of Port Phasmatys in Morytania. At that point the Ectophial then gets refilled at the altar, allowing you to reuse your Ectophial again. Since Ghosts’ Ahoy and the entire Morytania region are members-only content, the Ectophial is completely off-limits for Free players.
Completing Ghosts’ Ahoy
Ghosts’ Ahoy is both started and finished by talking to Velorina, near the northern gate to Port Phasmatys. This will start a rather long quest which will require 25 Agility, 20 Cooking, and lots of items. Completion of the quest will award the player with their own Ectophial. If lost, it can be reclaimed by talking to Velorina again (Don’t forget your Ghostspeak Amulet!) Additionally, she offers spares if you’d like to have some as bank holders. It’s recommended to get a handful of them in case you lose it upon death!
Refilling the Ectophial
Upon teleporting, you’ll automatically walk to the Ectofuntus and refill the vial, allowing for the item to be used again. Be careful though: this animation is not forced on you, and it can be interrupted. This means that you could walk away with an empty Ectophial if you don’t refill it! In this case, you’ll have to head back to the Ectofuntus through other means, or withdraw another Ectophial from your bank to come back and fill both. Just keep all of this in mind if you’re the impatient type! If you ever forget to refill it, then the closest bank is in Port Phasmatys. You don’t need ecto-tokens to enter (since you’ve completed Ghosts’ Ahoy), and the bankers will be able to help you out even if you’re missing a Ghostspeak Amulet. And that’s it! Ectophials are a highly popular one-click teleport option that’s used by all kinds and levels of players. We heavily recommend getting your own – unless you’re scared of ghosts.
