Through Shared FATEs, you will gain a rank for each region. Your rank will depend on how many FATEs you have participated in for that particular region. Participating in Shared FATEs will reward you with experience points and Bicolor Gemstones. Bicolor Gemstones is a relatively new form of currency that replaces Grand Company seals, and can be used to purchase items from certain NPCs. Each region will have their own Gemstone Trader with which you can spend your Bicolor Gemstones. The different traders will have their own set of wares, with more becoming available as you raise your rank. The Shared FATE system currently only applies to zones that were introduced in these expansions. To check on your Shared FATE ranking progress, open your menu and select “Shared FATE” under the Travel section.

Zones with Shared FATEs

Since not every zone in the game uses Shared FATEs, here’s a list of areas where the system applies:

Shadowbringers Zones

Endwalker Zones

Available Gemstone Trader Items

There are many different types of items you can get with your Bicolor Gemstones. Here’s a list of what you can get from the different Gemstone Trader NPCs as of patch 6.18.

Shadowbringers

The Gemstone Traders for both The Crystarium and Eulmore are unlocked after reaching Rank 3 in all zones for the expansion. Gramsol, the trader for the Crystarium, can be found at (X:11.0, Y:14.0) while Pedronille, Eulmore’s trader, can be found at (X:11.0, Y:12.0).

Endwalker

Just like in Shadowbringers, there are two Endwalker Bicolor Gemstone Traders that are unlocked after reaching Rank 3 in all regions. These NPCs are Gadfrid in Old Sharlayan (X:12.7, Y:10.4) and Sajareen in Radz-at-Han (X:11.1, Y:10.2).
