For instance, Kuki provides better healing, Fischl and Raiden generate more energy, and every other Electro unit has better Electro application at C0. So there’s basically no meta reason to ever use her if you already have the better units available. However, Dori is actually a decent unit in Co-op. This is thanks to her ability to heal and battery multiple teammates simultaneously. Note: This is based on meta only. If you like Dori regardless of her power level, don’t let this stop you from pulling her.

Pros & Cons

Dori Strengths

Dori’s niche is being able to provide both healing and energy generation in a single Electro unit. It’s a pretty good mix of abilities that let her slot into multiple team comps – especially since plenty of teams want both heals and energy. However, she’s never really the best-in-slot unit for these teams, she just works. She will very often compete with other units that can also do the same thing but for different elements. For instance, there’s Diona for Cryo, Bennett for Pyro, and Jean for Anemo.

Dori Weaknesses

The highlight of Dori’s kit is her elemental burst, so it’s especially important to build enough Energy Recharge for it. But it’s locked behind an expensive burst cost of 80 energy. Since she doesn’t generate a lot of energy particles, her requirements easily reach upwards of 200% ER. Building ER over HP stats can sacrifice a bit of your healing and team survivability – but it’s still a very important and highly prioritized stat. Dori has nearly no personal damage – both in her healer build and as a Hyperbloom trigger. So her only function is as a healer and battery, nothing else. But this generally isn’t a problem if your team already deals enough damage to clear content. Dori only becomes a viable Hyperbloom trigger or DPS with constellations – mainly her C6. This is a really expensive investment, especially when compared to other Hyperbloom triggers that already work at C0 (like Raiden and Kuki). Plus these units still work better than C6 Dori. Most of Dori’s value come from her ability to heal and battery at the same time. But if you don’t need both utilities, there are significantly better Electro options than Dori. Here’s a deeper comparison between her and other relevant Electro units.

Are Dori’s Constellations Good?

Dori has pretty nice constellations – having them is a significant difference from C0. But it’s hard to recommend pulling for her constellations since she’s not really a good unit even at C6. Her constellations are sizable upgrades, but she still underperforms even then. Meta-wise, it’s more efficient to just go for other units that require less investment and don’t rely on constellations. It’s only recommended to get her cons if you’re especially fond of her as a unit. In this case, let’s take a closer look at each one to help you out when pulling.

C1: Additional Investment

The number of After Sales Service Rounds created by her skill is increased by 1. This very slightly increases her damage and provides an additional instance of Electro application.

C2: Special Franchise

When in combat and Dori’s burst heals the character connected to Jinni, it will fire a Jinni Toop from that character’s position. This deals 50% of Dori’s ATK as damage. This also slightly increases both her damage and Electro application – which makes C2 generally nice to have. However, HP and ER are Dori’s most important stats, not ATK. So the damage gain becomes much smaller if you use her as a dedicated support.

C3: Wonders Never Cease

Increases her elemental burst talent level by 3. This is one of Dori’s better constellations. It increases her healing, energy regeneration, and burst damage.

C4: Discretionary Supplement

The current active character connected to Jinni obtains the following buffs based on their current HP and energy:

When their HP is lower than 50%, they gain 50% Incoming Healing Bonus. When their energy is less than 50%, they gain 30% Energy Recharge.

This basically makes Dori a better healer and battery. It mainly adds to your team’s survivability and makes charging their burst slightly more comfortable.

C5: Value for Mora

Increases her elemental skill talent level by 3. This is a pretty unnecessary constellation – it just buffs her skill. Since Dori is best built as a support, she won’t benefit from this damage buff.

C6: Sprinkling Weight

Dori gains the following effects for 3s after casting her skill:

Electro infusion When normal attacks hit opponents, all nearby teammates heal HP equal to 4% of her max HP. This can only occur once every 0.1s.

C6 is the biggest buff to Dori’s Electro application. It also makes her a more viable Aggravate trigger and Electro DPS.
