It doesn’t matter what make or model you’re a sucker for – you can be certain that The Sims 4 doesn’t have it. Even Toyotas, the car brand well known for being dependable and reasonably priced, is totally absent. The reason for this, of course, is the fact that there are simply no cars in the game at all! With rabbithole careers and most of sim life happening at home, having cars isn’t really necessary. But with CC, you can still have the illusion of car ownership. Granted most modded cars may only be décor, but these Toyota mods will be sure to dependably sit in your Sim’s garage for years to come.
1. Toyota Corolla Hatchback
Check Out This CC The Toyota Corolla is the perfect first car for your sim, hence why it’s the first car on the list. When bought used, they won’t break the bank for a sim just starting out on their own. But you also won’t be giving up on quality. And you won’t be likely to run the risk of your car needing repairs. None of this really matters since décor cars can’t break down like real cars can. But they’re things that your sim would need to think about! This Corolla Hatchback thankfully looks brand new and has 6 basic swatches.
2. 2018 Toyota Camry
Check Out This CC Look, I’m no car salesperson. I can’t tell you every little detail about every car or promise test drives (these cars literally can’t drive anyway). I definitely can’t haggle cutthroat prices with you – that’s way too much stress! But looking at this 2018 Toyota Camry CC, do I even need to? It offers 16 swatches, the perfect mid-poly sweet spot between good looking and reasonable game performance, and an objectively gorgeous car. What more could you ask for?
3. 2015 Toyota Velfire
Check Out This CC This car is by far the chunkiest yet. Before my dive into Sims 4 CC, I didn’t actually know that the Toyota Velfire existed. I can be pretty sure of that because I definitely would have remembered if I’d seen this car anywhere before! Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing is up to you (and your sims, of course). But the Velfire is definitely a luxury minivan for the books. I know there are people out there who think that minivans are only for old people, and those people are not entirely wrong. They’re just mostly wrong, and the chic (albeit blocky) Velfire proves that point.
4. Toyota Land Cruiser VXR
Check Out This CC Converted from The Sims 3, this Toyota Land Cruiser is just the thing for your adventurous sims or your sims that just want to seem adventurous. I don’t judge. With 6 color swatches, your sims will be able to theoretically drive through the mud (or through the immaculately clean streets) in style. And although you’ll never be able to actually use this car, it’ll make a great addition to your sim’s garage.
5. 1995 Toyota Supra
Check Out This CC On the opposite side of the spectrum, this 1995 Toyota sports car might be up your sim’s alley if they’re more about looks than functionality. That isn’t to say that the Toyota Supra isn’t a good car, though! In the real world, it’s a pretty solid sports car to buy. And it probably won’t break the bank, either. In The Sims where functionality doesn’t matter, it still retains its good looks. This even has 13 paint jobs, including one that’s designed to look like a bright and flashy racecar.
6. 1990 Toyota Supra MK III
Check Out This CC Going back even further in time, ModernCrafterCC (the same content creator who made the 1995 Toyota Supra) has a 1990 Toyota Supra that’s totally free to download. Despite the license plate that says “Modern”, this car has a thoroughly 90s retro look to it (because, well, it’s from the 90s). And there isn’t a thing wrong with that! For a décor car, having unique and stylish looks is exactly what you want. Plus with 11 total swatches, you’ll have more than just one unique look on your horizon.
7. 2019 Toyota Prius
Check Out This CC The Toyota Prius is one of the most well-loved hybrid electric cars out there today. And there’s plenty of good reasons for that. Although it’s not the prettiest or flashiest car on the block, it doesn’t need to be. Instead, it’s one of the cleanest cars for the environment. Like most Toyotas, it’s also a solidly reliable option. Just because it’ll only sit in your sim’s garage doesn’t mean you can’t factor reliability and durability into your decision making! Remember what I said about it not being the prettiest? With the help of a few swatches, it still shapes up to be an impressive car looks-wise.
8. 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser
Check Out This CC This Toyota FJ Cruiser is even beefier than the ordinary Land Cruiser. Chunky, durable, and surprisingly handsome, it looks like it’s the star in an off-road car commercial. That’s probably because it has been, though. Just like the Land Cruiser, there are plenty of color options for you to admire here. Or at least, you’ll get to admire the color at first. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) it’s unlikely you’ll end up seeing this car’s true colors for very long – since it was made to be splattered in mud!
9. 2020 Toyota Yaris
Check Out This CC Although distinctly different, the Toyota Yaris still resembles the Toyota Corolla and the Toyota Prius in a lot of ways. What can I say? It’s a popular visual design for cars. The 6 swatches this CC affords are a little sparse, but they cover all of their bases well enough. Frankly, most cars out there are silver/grey, white, blue, red, or black. The Yaris may be getting discounted after 2020, but it can live on forever in your Sims 4 game, as befitting of this car. After all, it was named after the immortal Greek goddesses known as the Charites!
10. 2022 Toyota GR 86
Check Out This CC To top this list off, let me introduce to you the 2022 Toyota GR 86. Yep, this car is easily the newest of the bunch – but it’s already available as CC in the Sims 4. Admittedly, it will never be usable like the real car will be… but it’s also way cheaper (read as: free) than the real one. And even if it was usable, it would still end up as decor of a sort. At the end of the day, gorgeous cars are all décor, aren’t they? This particular gorgeous car comes with a neat set of color swatches, including shades of purple and orange that you can’t always find elsewhere.
