There’s added value in every aspect of Nissan’s vehicle design. The materials are high-quality, the technology is top-notch, and their commitment to reliability is something you can, well, rely on. What makes them a fantastic choice for your GTA 5 character has to be the sporty, modern visual identity of their diverse vehicle lines. There’s something about Nissan vehicles that’s just clean and precise – as you’ll notice in our list of Nissan car mods for Grand Theft Auto 5.
1. Nissan Sentra B13 (1992)
Check Out This Mod Japanese cars have historically been known to be compact, unassuming, and, above all, reliable. The Nissan Sentra B13 is nothing if not reliable. This car is basically indestructible. Just patch it up with gum and duct tape, and it’ll keep rolling. Five years, ten years, fifteen years – it’s all the same to this Nissan Sentra.
2. Nissan Titan Warrior (2017)
Check Out This Mod The Nissan Titan Warrior is the polar opposite of the Nissan Sentra B13 – except for the reliability. This bad-ass off-road truck is perfect for the adventure-seeking GTA 5 player looking for a sweet ride to go out and explore the natural landscapes of Blaine County. Whether it’s skirting the Alamo Sea or braving the tough terrain of Mt. Chiliad, the Titan Warrior’s 5.L V8 Turbo Diesel engine and its custom off-road suspension will make it feel as smooth as driving on a freeway. Get the Off-Road handling mod for maximum enjoyment.
3. Nissan Patrol Super Safari (1997)
Check Out This Mod Another excellent off-road option with a somewhat vintage aesthetic is the Nissan Patrol Super Safari from 1997. The 1997 Super Safari belongs to the fourth generation of Nissan Patrol, labeled the Y60 by the Japanese manufacturer. This mod introduces a highly-detailed Nissan Patrol with fully working lights, well-modeled interiors, five different liveries and nine extras for extra customization. Alternatively, check out the 2017 Nissan Patrol Y61.
4. Nissan Vision GT 2020
Check Out This Mod Anyone with a taste for mecha anime will tell you that the Japanese are masters of projecting the future. Ironically, this fantastic, futuristic car was designed by a European team. The team behind the Nissan Vision GT had two objectives: next-level optimal aerodynamics and a visual design that would make people exclaim “wow.” They achieved both. The Japanese manufacturer unveiled the Nissan Vision GT in 2014 as a playable racer in Gran Turismo 6. A real-life version was produced for the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
5. Nissan Fairlady Z S30 (1969)
Check Out This Mod Known internationally as the Datsun 240Z, the Nissan Fairlady Z was introduced in 1969 as an affordable sports car that would revolutionize the brand’s image abroad. The first generation of Nissan Z-cars combined gorgeous looks with a powerful engine and – most importantly – a non-prohibitive price tag. This mod lets you experience the style and power of this classic car in exquisite detail, though it features some modifications that stray from the original style. Specifically, it includes a riveted body kit that gives the Fairlady Z a much more aggressive and beefy look. This “Devil Z” version is based on Akio Asakura’s car in the Wangan Midnight racing manga.
6. Nissan 370Z Nismo Z34 (2016)
Check Out This Mod A much more recent entry in the Z-car lineup is the Nissan Motorsport 370Z, known as the Fairlady Z34 in Japan. This 2-seater sports car shines for the same reasons as our previous entry: performance and looks. If I had to describe the 370Z to someone with very basic automobile knowledge, I’d say it looks like an Audi – and that’s a good thing! There’s something about the rounded edges that adds a lot of style to this coupé.
7. Nissan 350Z Veilside (Fast & Furious)
Check Out This Mod Almost everyone has seen the Fast & Furious films – especially the old-school ones before it had more episodes than Star Wars. If you’re a fan, you’ll definitely recognize the Veilside Nissan 350Z driven by the Drift King Takashi in 2006’s Tokyo Drift. The 350Z is the 370Z’s direct predecessor, introduced in 2002 as the fifth generation of Nissan’s Z-car lineup. It was a hit among sports cars aficionados then, and it became highly recognizable after appearances in F&F, NFS: Underground 2, and Forza Motorsport 2. This specific version features aftermarket parts from the famous Japanese workshop Veilside – just like Takashi’s did in the film. It also features the same livery, along with a few other options. Alternatively, check out the Rocket Bunny version or a clean factory-spec 2003 model.
8. Nissan Skyline GT-R (BNR34)
Check Out This Mod Since its introduction in 1969, the Nissan Skyline GT-R evolved to become a symbol of Nissan’s high-performance capabilities. Along with its exceptional performance, this Nissan flagship has garnered many fans through its pop culture appearances, including The Fast and the Furious, Initial D, Need for Speed, Forza, Gran Turismo, and many more. This mod introduces a top-quality version of the base 2002 Skyline GT-R and a wealth of tuning options like a Liberty Walk Super Silhouette body kit and LMGT 4 rims. You should also check out the bad-ass Rocket Bunny body kit, and Brian O’Conner’s iconic GT-R from The Fast and the Furious.
9. Nissan GT-R Nismo (2020)
Check Out This Mod After the Skyline GT-R was discontinued in 2002, the Nissan GT-R stepped up to take its place as the Japanese brand’s flagship high-performance grand tourer. The Nissan GT-R Nismo is the track-focused motorsport variant of the GT-R, boasting an acceleration of 0-97km/h in just 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 330km/h. Its design features minor visual updates compared to the base production variant, giving it a distinct “racing” character and a lot of style – along with performance improvements. If you like this mod, try out the dashing Liberty Walk body kit version, and the menacing Police version.
10. Nissan GT R50 by Italdesign (2021)
Check Out This Mod My favorite Nissan vehicle for GTA 5 is the exclusive Nissan GT R50 developed in collaboration with Italdesign. This romance of Japanese engineering and Italian design might be the ultimate Nissan GT-R. It’s based on the same GT-R Nismo covered above but includes several upgrades such as large diameter turbochargers and enhanced carbon-ceramic brakes. However, the visual aspect made me fall in love with it. The R50 is defined by its stretched LED headlights, the hood’s power bulge, and “samurai blade” outlets behind the front wheels. Considering the real deal costs around a million dollars, it’s a privilege to drive this beast in GTA 5.
