Not only are gay characters a much more common sight, but they’re also much more realistic with more human depictions, rather than low-effort bundles of stereotypes. Japanese culture is in a constant struggle between ancient tradition and new ideas. Like Western media, they’ve gradually introduced more healthy depictions of gay characters – even if they’re not always the most notorious. But here I’d like to take a look at some of my favorite depictions of LGBTQ+ characters in anime....

It combines simplicity and practical elegance. It also exudes a very signature style that, like Chinese and Korean traditional clothing, makes them completely unrecognizable from the classical styles of clothes in Europe during similar eras. But you know what’s even more awesome about it? Anime characters that wear kimonos as their signature suit of clothing! Come on, you definitely know a character or two that is distinctly identified for their traditional Japanese wear....

I’ve got so many bad takes here that you’re bound to find something to disagree with me over, but that’s okay. We’re all civilized here (I hope?). Plus, this is my list so there’s nothing we can do about it! OK in all seriousness, there have been some stellar Pokémon designs over the years. And Game Freak needs to be commended for that. I’m doing that in my own special way by celebrating what I consider to be the best Pokémon creature designs ever made....

So it’s understandable. Anime has evolved a lot since Mazinger Z (1972) and Mobile Suit Gundam (1979), thanks to increasingly sophisticated digital animation techniques. Newer anime are also written for more modern audiences. They’re easier to digest, and you don’t have to consider the cultural differences between us and past generations. Still, there are definitely some old-timey gems that every anime lover should watch. And these great classics from before the 2000s have stood the hardest test of all – the test of time....

This sheer fun factor, and some exciting scandals like the Hot Coffee Mod debacle, have made the game and its protagonist Carl “CJ” Johnson into widely recognizable pop culture references. If you’re one of those people who just can’t get enough of the GTA: San Andreas, modding is a great way to keep the game fresh – and I don’t mean the Hot Coffee Mod! You can improve graphics, get better weapons, and overhaul the game’s vehicles....

This didn’t prevent developers from coming up with some excellent multiplayer experiences, though. Pokemon Red and Blue come to mind. If developers managed to come up with these great ideas with all those annoying limitations, it’s no surprise that things are exponentially better in the Internet-connected world of the 3DS. Gone are the days of Link Cables, in are the days of excellent local & online multiplayer! 30. Code of Princess The Final Fight and Streets of Rage days never ended....

Well that’s basically how I view moe. Although it’s not limited to only females, it usually refers to small, clumsy girls that make life suck just a little bit less. And in this list we’ll take a look at these guardians of happiness as we check out some truly moe characters in anime. 30. Momo Kawamoto Anime: March Comes In like a Lion The Kawamoto family is just broken when it comes to moe levels....

So in the hopes of being a rebel, I’m going to look at the superior season and count down the strongest characters Dragon Ball Z history. DBZ fans are sure to find something here they love (or heavily disagree with). 30. Nail Nail was the strongest Namekian when Frieza and his goons first attacked. And in all honesty, he was the only Namekian who wasn’t complete fodder. Although his primary purpose in the show became to buff Piccolo, he still showed Frieza a good time....

There’s no denying that Frozen is a pop culture phenomenon right, and so it makes the perfect inspiration for DIY crafts and some fun handmade at-home projects. From the engaging characters and enchanting songs, and freakin’ Olaf, Frozen invites you to just let it go and be immersed in a compelling winter wonderland with boundless potential. And in that potential I hope you’ll find some nifty handmade crafts or home decoration ideas....

And if you were around to watch anime way back in the 70s, you can probably tell that it’s come a long way since then. So why not look back at some classic old anime to see how it stacks up decades later? Be it for nostalgia, or just because you’re interested in the older classics, either way we’ve got this list to help you find some incredible anime straight out of the 70s....

Their sole purpose is usually to generate crit stars for the team. But when a skill or a CE can do this job more effectively, Assassins lose a lot of their desirability. Some would even argue the Blue Magic is the most complete magic user out of all the mage jobs, and the repertoire of skills that they can harness would certainly back up that claim. Of course, the main caveat of Blue Mages is that to use the skills you have to learn them first. And in FFV that happens by a character with the Learning ability getting hit by the skill itself....

They also have the lowest charge time. In FF12, the Shikari class is the main dagger-user (with some exceptions). Your White Mage can make use of the Orichalcum Dirk as well as the Platinum Dagger, which we’ll go over in this list too. The card-based attack system and enemy encounter mechanics make for a long and potentially irritating slog to level 99. We’ve tried to scour the Internet to find some helpful ideas for getting you that sweet exp, and maybe even some Moogle Points too. Backtracking with AOE cards is usually the best bet, but here are some other nice options for your Re:CoM grind. Grind While Hunting For New Cards Now this method is quite simple, and doesn’t net you the best exp you can get… But if you’re just trying to level up for a boss or difficult stage, then this might be the method to try....

What other outfit could possibly function both as an acceptable thing to sleep in, and a piece of formalwear? I’m at a loss. Enter the Red Battlemage – the de facto Final Fantasy jack of all trades. It once again brings a smorgasbord of tools to the table, which not only makes this a job worth building around, but also makes it a fantastic job to help bolster the shortcomings of many other jobs, too....

After all, what’s more awesome than an ice-cold silent-type MC? These characters are often depicted as emotionless, detached, and very competent. This is true of both anime and manga. And in this ranking we’re checking out some notable manga that feature assassin characters, either as the MC or as a thematic side character. 15. But only a select number will reach those heights that few people have reached before. And yet, you don’t need to spend a lifetime of training to experience the sheer awesomeness of a spacesuit. All you need to do is to boot up Minecraft and snag one of these awesome skins....
